HOW WILL I CONNECT WITH DR. STAHL AT THE TIME OF MY SCHEDULED TELEHEALTH VISIT?

Dr. Stahl will send you an invitation to a Google Meet videoconference prior to your visit. You can access the videoconference using the Google Chrome browser on a desktop computer, or by downloading the free Google Meet app from your mobile device.

DOES DR. STAHL SEE PATIENTS IN PERSON?

Care with Dr. Stahl almost always starts with a telehealth visit. During that initial telehealth visit, Dr. Stahl works with each patient to determine the next steps in evaluation and treatment. In many cases, care can safely and effectively proceed without an in-person visit. In other cases, however, physical examination can provide critical information. If Dr. Stahl determines that an in-person office visit is indicated, he will work with you to arrange that visit in either his Manhattan or Westchester office.

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY CARE IN DR. STAHL'S PRIVATE PRACTICE?

Dr. Stahl is out of network for all insurance plans but will provide an itemized statement that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Reimbursement from insurance providers depends on your specific plan.

*If financial hardship is getting in the way of the care you need, please reach out via email to "billing@peterstahlmd.com". Dr. Stahl will provide discounted prices to patients with demonstrable financial need.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Dr. Stahl uses a secure, web-based portal for billing. You will receive an invoice after your appointment via email. Simply pay for your visit online using a credit card. In certain cases, your partner's fertility doctor may bill your insurance directly for Dr. Stahl's services.
